Appointments

The doctors in our practice work as a medical team, so you are free to see any doctor of your choice. We would, however, advise you to see the same doctor for each medical problem whenever possible. This ensures consistency of approach.

Should your regular doctor be unavailable, one of the other doctors will be glad to advise you. Each doctor holds regular surgeries at different times of the week. The receptionists will find a suitable time for you. If your problem is genuinely urgent tell her so that you may be seen quickly.

Telephone Appointments

Not everyone needs a face to face appointment, sometimes a quick call from a GP to talk through a matter may suffice, allowing you to continue your normal life with minimal disruption.

To book a telephone appointment please contact the practice with the following information:

  • Patient Name
  • Your Email Address
  • Date of Birth
  • Postcode
  • Contact Number (required)
  • I would like advice on the following matter…
(Please give as much detail as you can in the email, so the GP can research results before making the call.)

For appointments within the next 24 hours, we ask that you call the practice during opening hours.

In case of emergencies please telephone the practice immediately where you will be able to obtain appropriate advice.

New Patients

We ask that all patients provide us with up to date health data. This can be sent to the practice by filling in our online New Patient Registration form.

If you have repeat medication you need issuing, then please ensure you register prior to this running out as it will take up to 3 working days to have a prescription issued to you.

Following registration, your details from your previous surgery will be forwarded to us. We will upload these records upon receipt. It can take several days or weeks for this process, dependent on the volume of records received.

Nurses Clinics

The nurse and HCA are able to be pre-booked.

We prefer children under 16 years of age to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Cancelling Appointments

We ask patients to inform the surgery if they no longer need a booked appointment by completing our Cancel an Appointment Triage. There is always a patient who can take that appointment even if it’s at short notice.
