We offer a range of clinics and services at the surgery. There are some tasks you can do, such as health reviews, using our online forms.
Asthma Annual Review
These are best carried out in the summer, when you are more likely to be enjoying good health.

Care Plans
Those who have a long term condition are offered care plans, which is used to decide future health intervention. E.g. someone who knows they are dying from cancer may make their wishes known to die at home and not in a hospital. A patient with Diabetes may have advice on how to spot complications arising and can notify clinicians early if they have any symptoms.
Cervical Smear
It is preferable to take the smear during the middle of your cycle. You will be recalled every 3 years up to the age of 50, then at 5 yearly intervals, unless you have had any previous problem.
Child Health Checks
Weekly clinics, by invitation only. For those urgent episodes, e.g. sudden onset of rash associated with fever and malaise, we offer a daily children’s hour, to see the most critical cases immediately.
Cryotherapy Clinic
Nurse-led clinic for the treatment of warts and verrucas. Not suitable for children under 10 years.
Dementia Checks
We offer preliminary Dementia checks and can refer patients to the appropriate consultant for further assistance. Dementia patients can become very agitated and stressed when they feel the world changing around them and become insecure in unfamiliar surroundings. Once a diagnosis of dementia has been made, we will look to see them in familiar surroundings, when appropriate.
