Help Protect Yourself and Others From Coronavirus
Please be advised that AW Surgeries has taken the decision to withdraw the online booking facility for GPs and Minor Ailment Nurses effective immediately. This action is being taken in an attempt to mitigate any patients who may have symptoms / relevant travel history / exposure, making their way into surgery with out being triaged effectively.
We would also like to ask our patients to refrain from coming to surgery to book appointments at the front desk. All appointment booking for GPs and Minor Ailments Nurses will only be taken over the telephone.
We have increased the number of staff on the phones accordingly but obviously with an increase in telephone calls coming through to the surgery there may be a delay in taking your call. We would ask you for your patience at this time and assure you that every decision we have made or will make in the future will be made to safeguard our patients and staff alike.
Coronavirus and Domestic Abuse Support
We know that this is a difficult and challenging time for everyone – but particularly so for adults and children living with domestic abuse.
Avoiding public spaces and working remotely can help to reduce the spread of COVID-19, but for many survivors, staying home may not feel the safest option.
We know that any external factors that add stress and financial strain can negatively impact survivors and create circumstances where their safety is further compromised.
